Many doors.

The podcast was my awakening. The bigger story connects the book, Joanne Lockwood as I, SEE Change Happen as We, AI and the systems behind the work. Canva, Castmagic, Fathom and GitHub each have a role; Cloudflare and CDN delivery support the digital foundations. Follow the river to see what the same thinking could reveal in your business.

MCP and other supported connections can bring tools into the working conversation. Automation carries repeatable steps; simplification removes unnecessary work. 10x thinking asks how much more value one effort could create. We begin with your priorities and measure the actual difference.

This world is itself an example: I have been shaping it on my phone, in bed, working with AI to turn the conversation into changes to the site. The thinking and the doing are connected. Explore how it is being built →

01 · The connected ecosystem

Connect what you know. Multiply what you can do.

The podcast was my awakening. It showed me how much value I already had—and how much depended on me joining the pieces. The book, my I and We brands, AI, connected tools and simpler systems became parts of a much bigger story.

Inclusion Bites opened my eyes to the possibilities. Now the story spans 99 Ways Not to Be a Dick, Joanne Lockwood as I, SEE Change Happen as We, and the systems behind the work. Canva, Castmagic, Fathom and GitHub each have a role. MCP and other supported connections help bring tools into the working conversation. Cloudflare and CDN delivery support the destinations people use. We begin with the value you want to create.

What would you like AI and automation to make possible?
Your next idea

A first working version of an idea, built around a real customer need.

A possibility for your business

Opportunity

The Light bulb

An idea needs somewhere to become useful.

The opportunity

A quieter speaking diary gave me time to explore AI and develop a new application. That opened up another way to use my expertise commercially.

Does this sound familiar?

You can see an opportunity, but do not know what to ask a developer to build.

What we could do in your business

For your business, we could turn a customer need into a small working tool or service, then test whether people find it useful.

  1. 1Your ambition
  2. 2A useful first version
  3. 3A working trial

What changes for you

Turn an idea into something you can try with real customers.

How I could help

I help define the customer, the value and the smallest useful version—then design and build it.

How we would judge it

A clear success criterion agreed before building.

Your expertise

The knowledge, experience and existing material that your business can put to use.

From Joanne’s ecosystem

Insight

The Brain

Your experience is the starting asset, even when it is scattered.

In my ecosystem

My talks, consultancy, podcast and book contain overlapping expertise. Connecting them helped me see assets I could reuse rather than starting again.

Does this sound familiar?

Your best thinking is scattered across talks, guides, recordings and experience.

What we could do in your business

We can look through your existing knowledge, customer questions and resources to find material that deserves a useful destination.

  1. 1Existing expertise
  2. 2Useful answers
  3. 3Relevant offers

What changes for you

Start with assets you own, rather than another blank page.

How I could help

I map what you have and identify where it could answer a customer need.

How we would judge it

Useful material found and reused; time spent searching.

Your own journey

A starting direction chosen around your customers, priorities and capacity.

A possibility for your business

Opportunity

The Compass

Direction belongs to your business, not someone else’s software list.

The opportunity

One business needs its expertise to reach suitable new customers. Another needs to understand which products and channels deserve attention. Both can benefit from connections, but their first projects differ.

Does this sound familiar?

Someone else’s solution looks impressive but does not match how you work.

What we could do in your business

We start with your audience and commercial priority, then agree what to build or connect first.

  1. 1Your customers
  2. 2Your priorities
  3. 3Your ecosystem

What changes for you

Choose the connections that fit your business, not a prescribed bundle of tools.

How I could help

We work backwards from the outcome and keep the first scope manageable.

How we would judge it

An agreed priority, owner and outcome.

Insight

The Scales

Weigh the benefit alongside the investment and ongoing care.

The opportunity

Replacing a plugin made sense in parts of my ecosystem. Elsewhere, a paid service can be valuable. The question is what the whole arrangement lets the business do.

Does this sound familiar?

You can name the activity, but not yet the benefit you want from it.

What we could do in your business

We can compare the benefit, effort and ongoing care of keeping, connecting or replacing a tool.

  1. 1Your ambition
  2. 2A useful outcome
  3. 3A way to judge it

What changes for you

Invest in a change that earns its place in your business.

How I could help

I help turn an ambition into a clear outcome before we select a tool or solution.

How we would judge it

The benefit you agreed to pursue, reviewed over a suitable period.

02 · The pile

I built a portfolio. It behaved like a pile.

I had talks, consultancy knowledge, a book, a podcast, websites, designs and ideas. Each had value. But the context lived in different places, and I was the one explaining, copying and carrying it between them.

The podcast made the pattern visible across the business. Brand assets in Canva, recorded content in Castmagic, meeting knowledge in Fathom and website changes in GitHub belong to a wider picture. Your pile might be proposals, training, product answers or customer conversations. Where does it still need you to be the glue?

What still depends on someone remembering, copying or chasing?
The human glue

The points where information or work passes between people and systems.

A possibility for your business

Connection

The Chain

You may be acting as the missing link between capable people and tools.

The opportunity

Design assets, meeting knowledge, recorded content and website changes sit in different tools. Explaining context and moving it between them can become a job in itself.

Does this sound familiar?

Every hand-off needs you to explain, copy, check or chase.

What we could do in your business

Your version could be an enquiry moving between sales, administration and delivery. We can map the hand-offs and connect the repeatable work.

  1. 1One agreed input
  2. 2Connected hand-offs
  3. 3Exceptions for review

What changes for you

Keep work moving without personally carrying every step.

How I could help

I map the process with you and your team, then automate the repeatable parts.

How we would judge it

Manual touches and human minutes per completed job.

Tools that fit

The paid tools and services supporting your business, considered as one connected arrangement.

From Joanne’s ecosystem

Simplification

The Toolbox

Every tool needs a useful job within the wider process.

In my ecosystem

WordPress renewals made me question what I was paying for. I used AI to replace some functions and moved my sites onto shared infrastructure.

Does this sound familiar?

Your tools each do a job. But do they work together and give your business the value it needs?

What we could do in your business

We can review what your tools contribute and where a connection or tailored function would give better value.

  1. 1What the business needs
  2. 2Keep / connect / improve
  3. 3A better-fitting workflow

What changes for you

Get more value from your investment: useful capability, less repeated work and a system that fits.

How I could help

I assess the benefit, fit and ongoing care. Sometimes keeping a paid tool is the best decision; sometimes a tailored connection is worth investing in.

How we would judge it

Useful outcomes alongside the total cost of ownership.

A possibility for your business

Opportunity

The Archive drawers

Stored expertise has little reach if nobody can find a use for it.

The opportunity

A chapter, talk, client question or meeting can hold useful thinking beyond its first purpose. The podcast helped me notice that pattern across the business.

Does this sound familiar?

A good guide, webinar or case study disappears after its first outing.

What we could do in your business

Your archive might hold product explanations, webinars, research or training. We can make it searchable and connect it to the questions people ask.

  1. 1Existing archive
  2. 2Find the useful material
  3. 3A new customer use

What changes for you

Let previous effort keep earning attention and supporting your work.

How I could help

I organise retrieval and reuse around questions your customers actually ask.

How we would judge it

Time to retrieve material; reuse in real customer journeys.

Connection

The Blueprint

People need a shared understanding before their work can connect.

The opportunity

Canva, Castmagic, Fathom and GitHub support different parts of the ecosystem. The opportunity is to connect their context and outputs around useful work.

Does this sound familiar?

Your context is scattered between design, meeting, content and development tools.

What we could do in your business

We can use supported MCP connections, connectors or APIs to bring tools into an AI-assisted workflow. We confirm what each supports and connect one useful step with review before publication.

  1. 1Your purpose and context
  2. 2Supported tool connection
  3. 3Useful output and review

What changes for you

Carry relevant context into the tools doing the work.

How I could help

I assess supported MCP connections, connectors and APIs, then build one useful hand-off around your existing tools.

How we would judge it

Repeated briefing, manual transfers and quality of the reviewed result.

03 · Simplify the work

Fewer hand-offs. More headspace.

Every separate login, repeated brief, copied detail and manual hand-off adds friction. I wanted a simpler way to turn an idea into something working.

Simplification can mean connecting a tool, removing duplicate steps or building a better-fitting function. It can also mean reviewing hosting, plugins and shared infrastructure. Canva and Castmagic can still earn their place; AI helps me question the arrangement around them. We choose the change that removes unnecessary work and measure the benefit.

Which recurring problem would be most valuable to solve first?
Quiet enquiries

What we could do in your business

We can connect your forms, customer records and next actions so someone knows what to respond to and when.

  1. 1Enquiry
  2. 2Owned next action
  3. 3Follow-through

What we could do in your business

We can agree which record is authoritative and connect the places that need its information, with checks for changes and errors.

  1. 1Capture once
  2. 2Check and route
  3. 3Reuse where needed

Does this sound familiar?

There are so many possibilities that choosing becomes another job.

What we could do in your business

We agree a bounded improvement and a measure before building, then use the result to decide whether to extend it.

  1. 1Frequency and cost
  2. 2Value and risk
  3. 3One priority

What changes for you

The mistake only becomes visible after someone has completed the next step.

What we could do in your business

We can add checks at the point information enters the workflow and route exceptions to the right person.

  2. 2Flag the exception
  3. 3Continue with confidence

08 · Automation workshop

Less assembling. More getting done.

AI helps me move between business thinking, writing, design and development. I shape an idea, direct changes, inspect the result and decide what comes next. Automation carries repeatable work between those decisions.

The book’s contributor approvals, website development and the podcast’s production journey show different parts of the pattern. GitHub supports the development work. Clear inputs, useful outputs, review and a way to handle exceptions keep a process usable. We can apply that thinking to proposals, resources, onboarding or publishing.

Which process would you rather oversee than assemble by hand?
Recording to release

A connected process for preparing, reviewing, publishing and following up a podcast episode.

From Joanne’s ecosystem

Automation

The Microphone and recorder

The conversation is the heart; the surrounding work should support it.

In my ecosystem

Inclusion Bites made repeated hand-offs visible: recordings, transcripts, pages and communications. That was the awakening. The same questions now shape how I connect the book, brand, business tools and websites.

Does this sound familiar?

Files, transcripts, guests and release assets each need separate attention.

What we could do in your business

Your recurring production might create a report, training resource or customer deliverable. I can connect the repeatable preparation, review and follow-up.

  1. 1Recording and transcript
  2. 2Pages and assets
  3. 3Review and release
  4. 4Guest follow-up

What changes for you

Spend more time on the conversation and less on moving its parts.

How I could help

I can connect production, guest communications and asset preparation around your existing tools.

How we would judge it

Human time per episode; release errors; guest experience.

Approvals that flow

A review process that records approval, amendments or refusal and shows what is outstanding.

From Joanne’s ecosystem

Automation

The Wax seal

An agreement needs a clear, retrievable record.

In my ecosystem

My book contributors could review proposed extracts through individual pages. I could see responses, amendments and who still needed a follow-up.

Does this sound familiar?

You send requests but cannot easily see who has replied or what changed.

What we could do in your business

We can adapt that pattern to customer sign-off, document review or another approval process, so the outstanding work is clear.

  1. 1Review request
  2. 2Approve / amend / decline
  3. 3Track outstanding work

What changes for you

Know what is agreed and what still needs attention.

How I could help

I build review pages, response records and appropriate reminders.

How we would judge it

Response turnaround; unreviewed items; manual chasing.

Built in bed

A way to direct and review appropriate business work from your phone or tablet.

From Joanne’s ecosystem

System

The Phone on the pillow

Your location need not separate the idea from directing the work.

In my ecosystem

I have been on my phone, in bed, shaping this world with AI: explaining the business, challenging the story and directing changes to the working site. I review what comes back and decide the next step.

Does this sound familiar?

An idea arrives when you are nowhere near your desk. Does the work have to wait?

What we could do in your business

We can make it easier for you to direct and review appropriate work from your phone or tablet. You bring the judgement; I help build the supporting connections.

  1. 1An idea on my phone
  2. 2A conversation with AI
  3. 3Changes to this site
  4. 4My review and next decision

What changes for you

Direct real work from where you are. Your judgement matters more than the desk you sit at.

How I could help

I help you create ways of working where you can shape an idea, review what is produced and move it forward from your phone or tablet. Access, testing and approval still matter.

How we would judge it

A working change you can inspect—not just an idea in a chat.

Automation

The Packed case and welcome mat

A new relationship needs a clear arrival.

The opportunity

After a customer agrees, the next stage often becomes a trail of forms, files, access requests and reminders. That experience is part of your brand promise too.

Does this sound familiar?

A new piece of work starts with scattered requests, files and reminders.

What we could do in your business

We can connect the agreement to a welcome, information collection and preparation tasks so both sides know what happens next.

  1. 1Agreement
  2. 2Information and access
  3. 3Ready to begin

What changes for you

Give a new client a clear next step and reduce preparation admin.

09 · Your digital foundations

Useful destinations. Connected foundations.

The book, speaking brand, consultancy and podcast need useful homes people can find and use. GitHub, Cloudflare and CDN delivery are part of the wider story behind those experiences.

Code ownership, hosting and content delivery matter alongside the visible pages. GitHub supports development and review. Cloudflare and a CDN—content delivery network—can support delivery from locations closer to visitors. We can review those foundations and the customer journey together, then measure the actual experience. Clear identity and useful content help the right person recognise your expertise.

What question should bring the right customer to your business?
Useful answers

An owned page or resource that answers a real customer question and offers a useful next step.

A possibility for your business

Endpoint

Does this sound familiar?

Your site explains what you sell but leaves important customer questions unanswered.

What we could do in your business

We can turn your knowledge into clear answers, examples and tools that establish when your business is relevant.

  1. 1A real customer question
  2. 2Your original answer
  3. 3A relevant next step

What changes for you

Give a visitor something useful before asking for a sale.

The Travelling cards

Let an idea carry its source when someone shares it.

In my ecosystem

I created quote cards and shareable resources with a route back to my sites. The asset lets someone carry the idea into their own network.

Does this sound familiar?

Someone likes your idea but has no easy, attributable way to share it.

What we could do in your business

We can build branded sharing tools around your useful material and track referred visits and meaningful onward actions.

  2. 2Choose a shareable asset
  3. 3A route back to you

What changes for you

Make it easier for others to introduce your thinking to their network.

Discovery now includes systems interpreting your expertise.

The opportunity

Does this sound familiar?

You cannot tell whether your expertise is being found or accurately represented.

What we could do in your business

We can improve those foundations and review search, referral and crawler signals separately. Being crawled does not establish that you were recommended.

  1. 1Clear identity and pages
  2. 2Observe discovery signals
  3. 3Review useful outcomes

What changes for you

Make discovery a deliberate part of your business rather than a guess.

  2. 2A useful destination
  3. 3Your wider expertise

10 · 10x thinking & evidence

Think 10x. Measure the difference.

10x thinking asks what becomes possible when one piece of effort serves several useful purposes. A book chapter, meeting or idea can contribute to more work without asking me to begin again every time.

The ambition is more useful reach, stronger connections and more headspace, with less copying, searching and chasing. Tenfold improvement is a direction to explore, not a measured result I claim. We establish a baseline and track time, manual steps, relevant enquiries, completed work and quality. The evidence tells us whether the connection earns its place.

What would multiplying the value of your effort look like?
One joined picture

A possibility for your business

Telemetry

The Observatory

Several windows can contribute to one view of the business.

The opportunity

I connected measurement from my different sites into a private view. That lets me investigate the picture across destinations instead of treating each website as an isolated report.

Does this sound familiar?

Search Console, GA4, search research and your CRM tell separate stories.

What we could do in your business

We can connect relevant website, search, sales and operational information around the decisions your business needs to make.

  1. 1Relevant sources
  2. 2Comparable trends
  3. 3A business decision

What changes for you

Spend less time collecting reports and more time acting on them.

How I could help

I can connect available GSC, GA4, Ubersuggest and internal reporting through supported interfaces, subject to access.

How we would judge it

Reporting time; data freshness; decisions acted on.

10x thinking, measured

Measures chosen to show progress towards the outcomes your business actually wants.

From Joanne’s ecosystem

Data

The Measuring instruments

Choose the instrument that fits the outcome.

In my ecosystem

The ambition is more useful work from one idea, conversation or asset: a stronger offer, better follow-through and less repetition. 10x is a way to challenge the possibilities, not a claim of measured tenfold returns.

Does this sound familiar?

Downloads or page views do not answer whether the effort is worthwhile.

What we could do in your business

We set a baseline and track time, manual steps, useful output, relevant enquiries and quality. The result tells us whether the connection helps.

  1. 1Business aim
  2. 2Useful signal
  3. 3Outcome over time

Telemetry

The Returning arrows

The opportunity

“One more this week than last week” expresses the direction I want. A run of observations, rather than one good week, helps me judge whether something is moving.

Does this sound familiar?

You launch something and never return to see whether it helped.

What we could do in your business

We can record a baseline, the change made and a review date, then compare trends and decide what to adjust.

  1. 1Baseline
  2. 2One change
  3. 3Review the evidence
  4. 4Next decision

What changes for you

Let real use shape what you build next.

The Chess piece and forked path

Evidence becomes useful when it informs a choice.

Does this sound familiar?

Reports accumulate but you still struggle to decide what to change.

What we could do in your business

We can review the evidence together, choose a practical action and come back to its result before committing to the next stage.

  1. 1What changed?
  2. 2What might explain it?
  3. 3What shall we do next?

What changes for you

How I could help

I work with you to interpret the evidence, question assumptions and choose a manageable next action.

11 · Tools your customers can use

Make your expertise part of the experience.

The next step is making expertise usable: a book people can read, a resource they can apply, or a branded tool that helps them understand their situation. AI and automation expand what I can create around that knowledge.

I have built quizzes, diagnostics, quote cards, share cards and feedback forms around my brand. Some replace separate widgets; others make an idea usable in a new way. Connected design, development and delivery help the experience feel coherent. We choose tools because they help your customers and business.

What could help a suitable customer understand their need and your value?
Understand a need

Questions and feedback that help someone understand their situation and identify a useful next step.

From Joanne’s ecosystem

Endpoint

The Stethoscope and prism

Does this sound familiar?

Prospects cannot articulate what they need, and you begin every conversation from zero.

What we could do in your business

We can start with a short branded assessment and relevant follow-up. We measure whether it reaches suitable customers, alongside completion and usefulness.

  1. 1A short assessment
  2. 2Useful feedback
  3. 3An informed conversation

What changes for you

Help people recognise their needs before discussing support.

How I could help

I translate your method into questions, scoring and useful next steps. Reflective tools are not validated psychological tests.

Bring the possibility. Let’s make it work.

Bring me a problem, an ambition or work you are tired of carrying between systems. In a 30-minute conversation we can map your pieces, find the golden thread and see whether I can help. You set the pace.

I bring decades of business, IT and cross-sector experience to that discussion, as well as the practical experience of building my own ecosystem. We look at what you do now, where things stick, what you already know and how you would recognise a worthwhile result. That may lead to one small improvement, a wider plan or simply useful inspiration. If we work together, we agree the scope, ownership, human checks and measures before building anything shiny.
